Three Pixels Lab / Christos Arfanis: You won the Best Actress award at the Las Vegas International Film Festival, among thousands of other nominations, for your participation in Yiannis Stravolaimos’ film The Shepherd. There we see you with Theo Theodoridis (who starred in the film Mary Magdalene with Joaquin Phoenix) and Kostis Savvidakis (Wild Bees). What would you like to tell us about this award?

Elena Thomopoulou: I am grateful for this international award, (that motivates me) to continue to share empathy, light and love through art. I admire Kostis and Theo, they are both very talented actors and above all wonderful people. But the film is a team effort, and for that reason this award goes to all the actors in the film. I thank from the bottom of my heart the gifted person and director Yiannis Stravolaimos who trusted me and gave me the opportunity to be nominated.

Three Pixels Lab / Christos Arfanis: You were offered to participate in a big production for Netflix.

Elena Thomopoulou: I feel good working with an agent abroad because it creates opportunities for me to audition for very large productions like Netflix and Amazon. I hope for collaboration soon.

Three Pixels Lab / Christos Arfanis: We would like you to tell us about the unique film that you also participate in, The Force.

Elena Thomopoulou: The Force is a film directly related to meditation. It is the narration of an English poem written by Haris Kanavos. It is a journey of awakening and personal self-improvement. A dive into existence, from the director John Kassis and the music of Christos Hadjinassios. The relaxing atmosphere it creates, works as an inspiration for us to live every moment in the present moment, to get close to nature and to accept ourselves without being perfect.

Thank you very for your time Elena Thomopoulou and we wish you all the best!
